With generous corporate support CGL has provided hot, delicious Thanksgiving meals to over
twenty five thousand seniors in New York City, Philadelphia, New Brunswick, Boston, Orlando, Miami,
Paterson, Alexandria and Washington, DC, since 1992.
Minerva Ríos, a one hundred years old Puerto Rican native, and for many years a member of an East Harlem Senior
Center in New York, wrote to us about this meaningful activity:
To: Latino Center on Aging
Dear Mr. Tapia:
I would like to thank everyone that made our special meal possible on Thanksgiving Day.
It is very important to us, particularly because we do not feel so lonely.
God Bless You!
Minerva
